Something New

What I know to be true is–

Life doesn’t always make sense.  There are desert times, when there seems to be little or no sign of what life is “supposed to be.”  It’s a difficult and tiring place to be in.

I’ve experienced desert times.  It’s especially challenging, when no one seems to understand.  But.  I can confidently say, “You are not alone.”

There are many who have made the journey through the desert.  Notice the word, “through.”  Most of us desert travelers will explain that life is made new when the way out of the desert is found.  The greatest lessons I’ve learned in the desert are:

  • God will never leave.  Never.
  • God will never fail.  Never.
  • God is Living Water in the desert.  Always.
  • God makes a way through the desert.  Always.
  • Life begins new after time in the desert.  Always.

So.  Look closely.

God is making a way where there seems to be no way.

Living Water will flow through the desert places of your life and will make all things new.

I can say with complete confidence:  There is more to come after time spent in the desert. Life will be new.

God is doing something new

Watch closely: I am preparing something new; it’s happening now, even as I speak,
        and you’re about to see it. I am preparing a way through the desert;
    Waters will flow where there had been none.
