Thank You First Responders

Sunday afternoon.

We planned to bless some first responders.

We arranged for  fudge to made by Allison Sandoval‘s company, Blair Bakeshop. It’s the best fudge.  Ever.

A group representing The Red Door Community Church met in a parking lot and walked to Fire Station #5 in West Salem.

We rang Fire Station#5 doorbell. Three answered the door.  Immediately.

We shook their  hands and said, “Thank-you.”

They were gracious. We left grateful for meeting up with some heroes of our community.

The thing is . . . we planned to bless . . . but we were blessed.  Amazing people.

“Thank you to all first responders for your service.”

I encourage you to take a few minutes and thank a first responder for caring for your community.  It matters-Kerrie
