Have you heard about what’s happening in the world lately?
Riots. Cities on fire. Earthquakes. Oppression. Starvation.
Have you talked to your neighbor lately?
Stress. Pressure. Illness. Loss. Grief.
Have you had too much in your life lately?
Disappointment. Stuck. Questioning. Overwhelmed. Crisis.
Have you been aware of the presence of God lately?
Mercy. Grace. Healing. Love. Life.
Hope is anticipating the more of God. Hold on to the hope of God. Hold on tightly. Refuse to let go.
I encourage you to read Romans 8 this weekend. Think on it. Meditate. Pray it.
Here’s my translation of it all, specifically verse 31:
HOPE. God is for all the world. God is for your neighbor. God is for you.
