The Truth Of It All

Life has not always been easy.

Some incredible hard things have come our way, which seemed like insurmountable mountains.

The impossible filled many days, making it difficult to just breathe.

Sometimes it seemed life was more in the dark than in the Light.

BUT.  (Yes, a big but.)

The mountains, the impossibilities, and the dark places became stepping stones, opening the door to new beginnings, possibilities, and always to the LIGHT.

Through it all, the key was love from and for God and one another.  Because at the end of each and every day, LOVE WINS.  Love never leaves us the same.

I am talking about the kind of love detailed in I Corinthians 13: 4-7

Love is patient; love is kind. Love isn’t envious, doesn’t boast, brag, or strut about. There’s no arrogance in love; it’s never rude, crude, or indecent—it’s not self-absorbed. Love isn’t easily upset. Love doesn’t tally wrongs or celebrate injustice; but truth—yes, truth—is love’s delight! Love puts up with anything and everything that comes along; it trusts, hopes, and endures no matter what (Voice).

And, that is the truth of it all.

So today, no matter where you are at—whether you are facing a mountain, knee-deep in the impossible, lost in the darkness OR you are in a new place of life with sweet possibilities, standing in the LIGHT–I pray you hold tight to LOVE because you can be certain, LOVE WINS–Kerrie
