The last couple of days were perfectly scheduled; however, my time has been delineated with an unwanted interruption.
In the middle of it all, I’ve known God’s presence, an all-in-caps-kind of PRESENCE.
After all these years of living the “with-God” life, I continue to find it remarkable to know God’s presence . . .
the LIGHT who pierces the darkness.
the PEACE who stills the storm.
the POWER who moves the mountain,
the WAY who provides a path,
the HOPE who says, I AM with you . . .
So don’t be afraid. I am here, with you;
don’t be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, help you.
I am here with My right hand to make right and to hold you up. (Isaiah 41:10, Voice).
When you face stormy seas I will be there with you with endurance and calm;
you will not be engulfed in raging rivers.
If it seems like you’re walking through fire with flames licking at your limbs,
keep going; you won’t be burned. (Isaiah 43:2, Voice).
These words speak deep, allowing me to know without a doubt, that an unwanted interruption is an open door to know God is PRESENT with the powerful words echoing throughout time and eternity, “I AM with you.”
These words of hope give strength and the ability to face the day.
I pray today –regardless if, the day goes as planned or is filled with interruptions–you and I know can know God’s all-in-caps-kind of PRESENCE, hearing the words deep within: “I AM with you.”—Kerrie
