First Up: BE Grace

Seriously.  40-days of AWESOME.

RDC has a 40-day challenge to impact the world by taking on the values, attitudes, and action of Jesus.

I know it sounds like a religious thing to do.

BUT.

When I study history . . . the things that matter and impact individuals . . . are the things that bring longterm change.  History proves it only takes one to start a revolution to bring change.

So. Take a moment and think on this:  One began the revolution to restore humanity.  The beginning moment of the revolution was through the tortuous death of Jesus on the cross, who broke the power of darkness and death for all humanity.  The story of the revolution often includes two words:  AMAZING GRACE with a tagline using the word, “gift.”  In a letter to the early church grace was explained:

For it’s by God’s grace that you have been saved. You receive it through faith. It was not our plan or our effort. It is God’s gift, pure and simple. You didn’t earn it, not one of us did, so don’t go around bragging that you must have done something amazing. Ephesians 2:8-9, Voice.

Grace is an exquisite gift that revolutionizes individuals, couples, families, homes, organizations, and communities.  Our world needs grace to be put into action. NOW.

This week:  BE grace.

  1.  Determine grace to be an essential value in how you live at home and work.
  2. Make grace your attitude.
  3. Put grace into action.

At the end of the day, to know Jesus is to know grace–the favor of God–an undeserved love with unstoppable mercy and unending forgiveness.

BE intentional.  BE grace.  BE known for grace–Kerrie

P.S RDC has some fun red silicone bracelets with the reminder to “BE”–would love to see you wearing one.
