All I can say is: ONLY, GOD.

An awesome moment for all.

Our neighborhood came together for the solar eclipse of 2017.

We began a count down as the moon and sun came together.

It had been morning and then, it was night.

You could hear the collective . . . “awe” . . . and then clapping from one block to the other.

Only, God.

And, it’s a reminder . . . that the power put in creation . . . is only a glimpse of the power of God.

No human being could ever make it happen.  Ever.

Only, God.

So . . . it’s pretty amazing to think . . . we are given the opportunity to personally experience the power of God.

2 Timothy 1:7 says to release the spirit of fear and live in power, love, and self-discipline.

And . . .

when we attach our life to the power of Christ  . . .

the way we see and manage it all changes.

For example,

instead of living in fear of what has or will come charging at us, the power of Christ gives you and I the opportunity to have a peace beyond human understanding.

I can’t tell you how many times, I’ve had to intentionally examine and release the fear that has found a way into my life, inviting the power of Christ’s peace to once again take control.  It’s an awesome experience to move out of fear into the light of Christ’s peace.  I encourage you to practice this spiritual discipline each day.

To live with peace in this world is beyond human ability.   The power of it all is AWESOME.

Only, God–Kerrie
