We wanted it to have meaning and last. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not been perfect. Because. You know. We, people, never are.
Messiness, misunderstandings, and mistakes happen when two or more are gathered. It’s been this way since humanity’s beginning. Even so, when a group of people choose to give grace and space, the door to endless possibilities can be seen.
That said, I can tell you for sure every single human-being will have challenging seasons making it seem impossible to see the possibilities, especially when life is upside-down with the hard and dark of it all. So. We help one another to see.
I gave this key last Sunday because it’s essential to our vision:
Be aware of the darkness BUT pay attention to the LIGHT.
The LIGHT enables our vision to see MORE in the “now” and the “not yet.” It’s why I love the words in Romans 8:25:
These words describe a gift of vision, a supernatural viewing of reality: HOPE. Without it, the darkness of this world is blinding, disabling the vision of God’s MORE.
I pray you and I will see MORE. It matters–Kerrie
